Badgers have legitimate shot at making College Football Playoff.

2. Northwestern

Wildcats don’t play Ohio State or Michigan.

3. Iowa

New QB but Hawkeyes bring back top-notch offensive line.

4. Nebraska

Huskers switching to 3-4 defense under new coordinator Bob Diaco.

5. Gophers

Unsettled QB situation but running back tandem of Smith and Brooks very good.

6. Purdue

New coach Jeff Brohm has big rebuilding project on his hands.

7. Illinois

Year 1 of Lovie Smith Era underwhelming. Year 2 might not be much better.
