OFFENSIVE MVP

Montee Ball, Wisconsin

He wasn't the top rusher on his team (Melvin Gordon had 216 yards) and didn't lead them in touchdowns (James White had four, and threw for one more). but Ball was again the workhorse with 21 carries for 202 yards and three TDs.

DEFENSIVE MVP

Chris Borland, Wisconsin

The linebacker, healthy again after missing the season finale at Penn State because of a leg injury, finished with 13 tackles and a forced fumble.

BY THE NUMBERS

539 Rushing yards by the Badgers, the most ever given up by a Huskers defense, bettering the 506 yards by Oklahoma on Nov. 24, 1956.

10 Touchdowns for Ball in three career games against Nebraska.
