A full day of Big Ten baseball kicked off Wednesday morning at Target Field with Indiana and Michigan facing off in the first of four conference tournament first-round games.

Indiana is two years removed from its College World Series appearance, but struggled in Big Ten play. The Hoosiers secured their spot in the final weekend of the regular season and helped eliminate the Gophers from the tournament race. Minnesota missed the Big Ten tournament for just the third time in the past 18 years.
