The Woodbury-reared son of a Tanzanian immigrant has one of the most distinctive rapper/singer voices in town, part Frank Ocean and part Kid Cudi. He also produces many of his own beats (with traces of his mom's East African influences), performs breaker-inspired dance moves and helms his own music videos.
