It's not just the good timing and the great beer that makes this young northeast Minneapolis brewer's taproom the best place to drink straight from the source. Timing came into play when Minnesota liquor laws changed to allow for taprooms in 2011 — making this the first brewery to factor its taproom into construction. It shows. The dark-wood paneling and old brick-warehouse walls could have been for a four-star restaurant location. All the more inviting for beer lovers, it's located near the historic Grain Belt Brewery complex amid Nord­east's rich brewing history and the neighborhood's eclectic, laid-back vibe of today.
