This historic high-rise office building — one of the first to be built in the city's Central Business District — is worth a visit for its stunning architecture, but for those without a car it's the perfect urban locale. Though there's no dedicated parking in the building, the building is within a block to major transit bus stations and a light rail transit stop. It's connected to seven miles of downtown skyway and is just a couple blocks from two grocery stores, including the new Whole Foods, and three major downtown sports venues. When the nearby Nic on Fifth and 4Marq towers open, they'll have the same proximity. Why drive? 101 S. 5th St., Mpls.; 1-888-738-8195; soolinebldgcityapts.com
