Who's behavior is worse - antsy kids or adults yacking on cell phones and texting?

My grandmother used to tell us a story over and over about when my mom was little.

She said my mom came up to her when she was about 4-5, tugged on her skirt and asked her,

"Mommy, what's a have?"

"A have? What are you talking about"

"Well my teacher keeps telling me to 'be a have.' And I don't know how to. "

Well, Gail Rosenblum's piece on the behavior of kids (and adults) in theaters, planes and restaurants reminded me of that little story. You can read it here. Adults complain about kids behavior, but often they should look at their own.
