Radio personality Tom Barnard has signed a new contract that will keep him at KQRS through 2016. In addition, starting Monday, Barnard's popular morning-drive show will extend from 5:38 a.m. to 10 a.m., more than 40 additional minutes.

Barnard, who will have been at the station for 31 years at the end of this current contract, said Thursday that he hesitated a bit before signing because he was feeling "survivor's guilt."

"There's 15 percent of the population who can't get a job and here I've got the greatest job in the world," he said.
