Bar: Ginger Hop. This pan-Asian eatery in the old Times Bar & Cafe has carved out a fun niche for itself, where "East meets Northeast."

Deal: $3 tap beer (including Bells Two Hearted, Lagunitas IPA, Lift Bridge Farm Girl, more), $4 sake bombs, $5 select specialty cocktails. For food: $3-$5.50 appetizers (including satays, caramelized cream cheese wontons, spring rolls, Hop wings, more). Also: $5.95 action hero burgers (named after Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, etc.).

Hours: 3-6 p.m. Sun.-Fri. and 10 p.m.-midnight Mon.-Thu.
