San Antonio - The Lynx won their 10th consecutive game and swept their four-game season series with San Antonio by beating the Silver Stars 93-80 Tuesday night at the AT&T Center.

The Lynx shot 57.4 percent and three starters score at least 20 points: Maya Moore had 26 points and 10 rebounds, Seimone Augustus had 21 points and was 3-for-4 on three-pointers, and Rebekkah Brunson had 20 points.

Point guard Lindsay Whalen, like Moore did, had a double-double with 11 points and 10 assists.

The only potential issue for Minnesota was an undisclosed injury to center Janelle McCarville in the second minute of play. She left the game and did not return. Second-year post Devereaux Peters played 27 minutes and had six points and three rebounds.

This is the Lynx's third 10-game winning streak in franchise history. The team's longest is 13 victories in a row over two seasons, Sept. 4, 2011 to June 15, 2012.

This was also Minnesota's sixth consecutive road victory, which is the second-longest streak of that sort in team history.

The Lynx (17-3) defeated San Antonio 85-63 on Friday at the Target Center, as four players scored in double figures led by Augustus' 18. Rebekkah Brunson had a game-high 12 rebounds. Their average winning margin over the Silver Stars in the first three games was 17.7 points.

This time they won by only 13, but got the same kind of scoring balance.

San Antonio (7-14) had won three of its past four games. But that one loss was to the Lynx and Tuesday they lost another game to them to fall 10½ behind in the Western Conference race.

The Lynx led 45-40 at halftime after shooting 54 percent. Augustus was 5-for-7, and made her only two three-point attempts, for 12 points, Moore was 5-for-8 for 11 points. Danielle Adams had 13 points for the Silver Stars by halftime and finished with a season-high 31 points.

Adams was 13-for-17 shooting, including 4-for-6 behind the arc. But the only other player in double figures for San Antonio was Jia Perkins with 18. Jayne Appel, who averaged 13.3 rebounds in the team's four previous home games, was limited to three rebounds in 30 minutes.

San Antonio had won three in a row at home after falling 87-71 to Minnesota on July 19, but couldn't overcome the Lynx's depth again.

By halftime, Whalen, the Lynx primary ballhandler, had eight points and five assists and, as a team, the visitors had only three turnovers to San Antonio's seven.

The Silver Stars were shooting 45 percent and staying close to Lynx on the boards, trailing only 18-16.

But the Lynx outscored San Antonio, who had 20 points every quarter, by six in the third to open a 71-60 lead.
