Hopkins, Benilde-St. Margaret’s and Providence Academy begin the 2025 season as the top teams in 4A, 3A and 2A according to the Minnesota Girls Basketball Coaches Association.
St. Thomas Academy, Chanhassen, Spring Lake Park, Elk River, Minneapolis North, Waseca, Annandale and Jackson County Central claimed their spots Saturday.
Lakeville South ran away from Maple Grove, the top overall seed in Class 6A. Edina defeated Eden Prairie with a late field goal, and Minnetonka cruised past St. Michael-Albertville.
