Hettesheimer joined the Minnesota Star Tribune as a preps reporter after her summer 2024 internship in the sports department. From Georgia, she graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of Georgia before heading north. She previously covered global sports as an intern at CNN and reported for The Associated Press at the 2023 Women's World Cup. When she's not out reporting, she's running, playing soccer or watching women's sports.
