Sports portfolio: Beyond the hockey tournament, Fogarty has created art for many notable sporting events including the 1988 America's Cup Yacht Race, the Minnesota Twins' 40th anniversary season and Hall of Fame inductees, the 2004 NHL all-star game and the 2014 Major League Baseball All-Star game.

Downtown mural: He is working on a piece that will become a football field-sized mural that will hang outside the former Macy's building in downtown St. Paul. The building is being renovated into the Treasure Island Center and the top floor will house a Minnesota Wild practice rink.

Personal: He lives with his wife, Karen, daughter Elizabeth and the family dachshund, Georgia, in Victoria.
