The New York Liberty traded seven-time All-Star center Tina Charles to the Washington Mystics on Wednesday as part of a three-team deal that also involved guard Tayler Hill, a former Minneapolis South star.
New York received the 12th pick in the WNBA draft from Washington, the defending WNBA champion, as well as the ninth and 15th picks from Dallas. The Liberty also received Hill from the Wings and guard Shatori Walker-Kimbrough from the Mystics. Dallas got Washington's first-round pick in 2021 and New York's second-round pick in 2021.
The Liberty also received the Mystics' second- and third-round picks next season.

Georgia receiver Lemeke Brockington committed to the Gophers.
The 6-foot, 185-pound native of Moultrie, Ga., announced his decision on Twitter. He is a three-star recruit, per 247Sports.com. He picked the Gophers despite more than a dozen other offers from programs such as Tennessee, Indiana and South Carolina.
The Gophers offered Brockington earlier this month while the coronavirus pandemic forced a moratorium on all recruiting travel. He's the third recruit to commit to the Gophers in this dead period, where coaches can communicate with players virtually, and the eighth member of the 2021 class.
