March 21, 2020 at 4:15AM

Melvin Gordon's time with the Chargers officially ended Friday when the running back agreed to terms with AFC West rival Denver. He'll receive a two-year contract worth up to $16 million, with $13.5 million guaranteed.

Gordon joins a backfield that already has Phillip Lindsay, a 1,000-yard rusher and Pro Bowler.

A first-round draft pick in 2015, Gordon rushed for 4,240 yards and scored 47 touchdowns in five seasons with San Diego. He gained a career-high 1,105 yards in 2017 and was a Pro Bowler in 2016 and 2018.

Gordon missed the first four games last season after an extended holdout because of a contract dispute.

Brady officially a Buc

Tom Brady, the six-time Super Bowl champion quarterback, signed a two-year contract in free agency with the Buccaneers.

The deal with Tampa Bay guarantees him $50 million and includes a $10 million signing bonus and $15 million salary for 2020.

The 42-year-old quarterback who spent the first 20 years of his career with the Patriots announced his decision in an Instagram post.

"Excited, humble and hungry," Brady wrote. "... If there is one thing I have learned about football, it's that nobody cares what you did last year or the year before that.

"I look forward to meeting all my new teammates and coaches and proving to them that they can believe and trust in me."

Gurley Atlanta-bound

The Falcons are set to sign former Georgia standout Todd Gurley to a one-year deal, according to multiple reports.

After a storied college career with the Bulldogs, Gurley was selected 10th overall by the St. Louis Rams in the 2015 draft. He was released by the now-Los Angeles Rams on Thursday.

The Falcons also signed former Rams defensive end Dante Fowler in free agency.
