Tyler Toffoli lands with Canucks

The Vancouver Canucks acquired high-scoring forward Tyler Toffoli from the Los Angeles Kings on Monday in exchange for forward Tim Schaller, prospect Tyler Madden and two draft picks.

Toffoli, 27, had 429 points in 515 games with the Kings. This season he has 18 goals and 34 points in 58 games, including a hat trick Saturday in a 3-1 win over Colorado in the Stadium Series outdoor game.

Monday's highlights

Calgary 6, Anaheim 4: Andrew Mangiapane had three goals and an assist, and the Flames rallied for a victory at home.

Vegas 3, Washington 2: Max Pacioretty scored his team-high 27th goal, and the Golden Knights won at home. The Capitals' Alex Ovechkin remained stuck on 698 career goals after being held without a point for the fifth consecutive game.

Tampa Bay 4, Colorado 3: Nikita Kucherov scored 3:03 into overtime as the Lightning won in Denver.
