Joe Wegwerth's goal at 13 minutes, 48 seconds of the third period gave No. 5 Notre Dame a 2-1 victory over No. 7 Ohio State on Saturday at Compton Family Ice Arena in South Bend, Ind. It broke a 1-all tie and gave the Irish a split in the Big Ten series; the Buckeyes won the opener 1-0.
Mason Jobst, who got the lone goal Friday, staked OSU to a 1-0 lead in the fourth minute of the middle period. Colin Theisen of Notre Dame tied the score on a goal in the 12th minute of the second. Cale Morris had 38 saves for the Irish, Tommy Nappier 36 for the Buckeyes.
Ferris St. 4, Michigan St. 1: Roni Salmenkangas stopped 27 and Oskar Andren's goal in the first period proved to be the winner as the Bulldogs beat the visiting Spartans.
No. 12 Michigan 5, Lake Superior State 3: Josh Norris had two goals and one assist as the Wolverines beat the host Lakers.
Arizona St. 4, No. 6 Penn State 3 (OT): The Sun Devils, Division I's one independent, got perhaps the biggest win in program history. Johnny Walker's second goal of the game — and 11th of the season — at 1:09 of overtime enabled ASU to win at not so Happy Valley. Joey Daccord stopped 40 shots for the Sun Devils, Peyton Jones 21 for Penn State.
No. 14 North Dakota 3, No. 16 Wisconsin 2 (OT): Jacob Bernard-Docker scored 21 seconds into overtime on a power play, giving the Fighting Hawks a win over the Badgers.

No. 2 St. Cloud State 2, Colorado College 1: Jack Poehling and Easton Brodzinski scored third-period goals to give the Huskies a road sweep. Brodzinski's power-play goal with 2:10 left broke a 1-all tie. Westin Michaud put the Tigers ahead with a power-play goal in the middle of the second period.

Bemidji St. 3, Alaska Anchorage 1: Brendan Harris' goal with 1:36 left in the second period put the visiting Beavers ahead 2-0 and they held on to beat the Seawolves.
