GAMEDAY HEROES

TOM SAVAGE, QB, Texans Took over after Brock Osweiler was benched in second quarter and threw for 260 yards in 21-20 comeback victory over Jaguars.

CHRIS BOSWELL, K, Steelers Tied a franchise record by kicking six field goals — three of them from 49 yards — in beating Bengals 24-20.

BRANDIN COOKS, WR, Saints Caught seven passes for a career-high 186 yards, including touchdown catches of 65 and 45 yards, in 48-41 victory over Cardinals.

GAMEDAY GOATS

ANDY REID, coach, Chiefs Called time before Titans' Ryan Succop came up short on a 53-yard field-goal attempt. Given a second chance, Succop made it in the closing seconds for a 19-17 Titans victory.

JORDAN NORWOOD, PR, Broncos Muffed first return in 16-3 loss to Patriots after muffing two attempts last month against Chiefs. He also caught one pass — and fumbled it.

PAT SIMS, DT, Bengals Personal foul helped prolong Steelers' game-winning drive.

FANTASY RUSH

GOING UP Packers WR turned RB Ty Montgomery is getting the hang of his new position, rushing for a career-high 162 yards vs. Bears.

GOING DOWN QB Robert Griffin III hasn't steered the Browns any closer to the win column since his return from shoulder injury, completing 29 of 56 passes for zero TDs and one INT in past two games.

LOOKING AHEAD Start QBs Matt Ryan or Cam Newton this week; Panthers and Falcons have two of the worst three pass defenses in the NFL.
