Gerald Henderson added 19 points and Jahlil Okafor had 15 for the 76ers, who won a fourth straight home game.
Heat center Hassan Whiteside set a high with 32 points while reaching double digits in rebounds for the 13th consecutive game to start the season. Whiteside, who entered leading the NBA with 16.2 boards per game, finished with 13.
"Philly loves that guy," Whiteside said of Embiid. "I've never seen excitement like that. They love that dude. I was amazed."
Memphis 105, Charlotte 90: Mike Conley had five three-pointers among his 31 points and Marc Gasol flirted with a triple-double for the visiting Grizzlies.
San Antonio 96, Dallas 91: Seth Curry tied a career high with 23 points, but the visiting Mavericks missed a potential-go-ahead basket with 15 seconds left and went on to lose their sixth in a row.
Milwaukee 93, Orlando 89: The Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo had his first triple-double of the season, 21 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. He added five steals and three blocks.
Golden State 120, Indiana 83: Klay Thompson scored 25 points in 26 minutes for the Warriors, who rested all five starters the entire fourth quarter in a road victory. The Warriors (12-2) have won eight straight.
