Vaughn, Henson lift Bucks over Nets

John Henson's tip-in at the buzzer gave Milwaukee its first victory of the season, 110-108 over the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night.

Former Cooper star Rashad Vaughn scored a career-high 22 points, including six three-pointers, for Milwaukee. Giannis Antetokounmpo added 21 points and 11 rebounds. He scored all of his points in the paint, including seven dunks.

Vaughn, who surpassed his previous career high of 12 points, hit consecutive three-pointers that gave Milwaukee a seven-point lead late in the fourth quarter.

San Antonio 98, New Orleans 79: Kawhi Leonard had 20 points as the Spurs beat New Orleans to win their first home season opener in 20 years without the since-retired Tim Duncan.

Atlanta 104, Philadelphia 72: Paul Millsap scored 17 points to lead five Hawks in double figures as Atlanta routed Philadelphia. Kyle Korver chipped in 15 points and former Roseville star Mike Muscala added 14 for Atlanta.

New York 111, Memphis 104: Kristaps Porzingis scored 21 points and Carmelo Anthony had 20 in the Knicks' home opener.

Cleveland 105, Orlando 99: LeBron James scored 23 points, Kyrie Irving added 20 and Cleveland beat Orlando for the 15th straight time.

Chicago 118, Indiana 101: Doug McDermott had 23 points, Jimmy Butler added 16 points on 6-for-9 shooting and Rajon Rondo had 13 assists to lead Chicago to a rout of Indiana.

Boston 104, Charlotte 98: Avery Bradley had 31 points on a career-high eight three-pointers as Boston defeated Charlotte.
