Jefferson Lines is beefing up bus service between Duluth and the Twin Cities. The Minneapolis-based company is now offering three daily departures between the two cities. Jefferson also stops at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and the Mall of America.
Travelers will now have the option to do day trips with early morning departures from Duluth and evening departures from the Twin Cities, said Kevin Pursey, Jefferson's director of marketing.
In Duluth, Jefferson is adding a stop near Miller Hill Mall where passengers can transfer onto the Duluth Transit Authority's Mall Area Short Hop (MASH) for 25 cents. The addition of a late-afternoon trip from Duluth to the Iron Range will also allow for day trips.
