Gonzaga (32-2) was in contention for a No. 1 seed for much of the season thanks to its strong offense led by Kyle Wiltjer (below), who averages 16.7 points per game.

Gonzaga shot a national-best 52.4 percent and is in its 17th consecutive NCAA tournament appearance.

North Dakota State (23-9) won the Summit League title for its second NCAA trip in a row. The Bison are led by senior guard Lawrence Alexander, who averages 18.9 points and shoots 44 percent from three-point range.

There have been seven No. 15 seeds that have defeated No. 2 seeds. It has happened three times since 2012, most recently with Florida Gulf Coast knocking off Georgetown 78-68 in 2013.
