First time around: Played 12 seasons with the Wolves, averaging 20.5 points and 11.4 rebounds. Named NBA MVP in 2003-04, when he led Wolves to Western Conference finals, the last of eight consecutive playoff berths.

Records stand: Garnett is still the Wolves career record-holder in most categories, including points, rebounds, blocked shots, assists and steals. He was a 10-time All-Star with the Wolves (15 overall).

Leaving Minnesota: Traded to Boston on July 31, 2007, for Al Jefferson, Sebastian Telfair, Gerald Green, Ryan Gomes and Theo Ratliff plus two first-round draft picks.

Winning it all: Garnett and fellow veterans Paul Pierce and Ray Allen led the Celtics to the NBA title in 2007-08.

Traded again: The Celtics sent Garnett and veterans Paul Pierce and Jason Terry to the Nets for future first-round picks in 2014, 2016 and 2018 plus Kris Humphries, Gerald Wallace, Kris Joseph, MarShon Brooks, Keith Bogans and D.J. White.

Brooklyn years: The Nets were 44-38 a year ago, losing in the second round of the playoffs. Garnett has averaged 6.6 points and 6.7 rebounds in his one-plus seasons in Brooklyn.
