La-Z-Boy has taught its old cog a new trick. The manufacturer has designed the "Arc," a cast aluminum alloy handle, as an alternative to the wooden side handle of its iconic recliner and other motion seating. Nickel-plating is designed to protect against scratches; the optional upgrade costs $50. Available now at several Minnesota retailers; see a locator at www.lazboy.com.
