JORDIN SPARKS AND JESSE MCCARTNEY
Friday: We're watching these young singers grow up. Sparks, 18, has gone from the first teenage "American Idol" to a bona fide hitmaker with the modest "Tattoo" and the huge "No Air" with Chris Brown. A star on TV's "Summerland," McCartney enjoyed Radio Disney success before crossing to the pop charts with "Beautiful Soul" in 2005. Now 21, he has come up with a more mature look (brunet) and sound (R&B-flavored) on his third album, "Departure," and kinda sexy but still PG video for "Leavin'." (7:30 p.m. Fri. $39.50-$49.50. State Theatre, 805 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls. 651-989-5151.)
