The Minneapolis Marriott City Center played host to the finely dressed folks who attended the annual gala for the Arc Greater Twin Cities. The organization, which advocates for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, offered cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and music by the New Standards and Katy Vernon to raise money for, and awareness of, affordable housing for those with disabilities. The theme? A Place to Call Home.

"I'm here because I believe in Arc," said Heidi Myhre, a member of the Arc board. "I want to make a difference in the community for people with disabilities. I don't want people to go through what I went through."
