Consider parlaying the annual WinterSkate in St. Paul's Rice Park (now until Feb. 3) with nearby happy hours for a thrifty skate date. Kincaid's, a classic fine-dining restaurant, is accustomed to playing host for lovey-dovey occasions, so its staff probably won't mind you making googly eyes at each other over appetizers. Stop in from 4-6 p.m. and 9 p.m.-close on Monday through Saturday, or 3-9 p.m. Sunday, for $4 select wines, cocktails and beers, and discounted apps.
