MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONSCargill Inc., Minnetonka, said it intends to purchase Raggio di Sole S.p.A, an Italian animal feed company with four production facilities across the country. Terms were not disclosed, and the deal is subject to regulatory approval. The acquisition will enhance Cargill's ability to deliver feed products to customers in a growing retail segment.

3M Co., Maplewood, has agreed to acquire Advanced Chemistry & Technology Inc. (AC Tech), a manufacturer of quick-cure, lightweight polysulfide sealants for aerospace applications. Terms were not disclosed. The acquisition expands 3M's product presence in the aerospace market. Aircraft sealants are used to prevent corrosion, seal critical gaps, and protect from foreign object debris.

NEW PRODUCTSFair Isaac Corp., Minneapolis, has partnered with Adeptra to integrate its payment card fraud detection product, FICO Falcon Fraud Manager 6, with Adeptra's Automated Customer Contact capabilities. The result will let users set complex strategies for flagging and verifying suspicious card transactions and then contacting customers automatically, in real time, using channels including voice, text and e-mail.
