Which is the biggest?

Many water parks claim to be the country's largest. These three measure up. 1 The folks behind the Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells dubbed it "America's largest waterpark resort." With 250,000 square feet of indoor water park, the resort has more than any other in the United States, so the assertion is true. But there is a catch: The space is divided between three buildings, and getting between them isn't necessarily easy. 2 The Kalahari, also in the Dells, promotes itself as "America's largest indoor water park." True. Not that it beats the Wilderness in total square footage, but the park measures 125,000 square feet, all under one roof. 3 How does the Water Park of America stack up? Pretty well, despite the fact that it is far from "the biggest indoor water park hotel," as its promoters claim. The water park measures a mere 75,000 square feet, and the adjoining Radisson offers 403 rooms (the Kalahari, by contrast, has 740). But the park's 10-story water slide is the tallest of any indoor water park.
