Opening: Birch bark, maple seedpods and other natural materials become the stuff of art in the tableaux of Pat and Gage Kruse and the miniature sculptures of Jim Proctor. The Kruses' blanket-like design shown here is fashioned from birch bark, red willow and deer sinew. Proctor embellishes the wing-shaped seeds of maple trees with rose thorns, catalpa seed fibers and other natural materials. Long a showplace for contemporary American Indian art, Bockley Gallery is welcoming the change of seasons with an homage to nature's endless versatility. (Opening reception 6-9 p.m. Fri. 2123 W. 21st St., Mpls., west of Lake of the Isles near Franklin Avenue. Ends Jan. 8, free. 612-377-4669 or bockleygallery.com)
