Four McKnight Artists
Opens Friday: The four winners of 2012 McKnight fellowships in ceramic arts have astonishing exhibition experience, including shows and installations in England, France and South Korea as well as throughout the United States. New projects developed during their Twin Cities fellowship year range from Brian Boldon's ceramic sculptures involving digital media, glass, steel, aluminum and rubber, to the hand-painted earthenware tiles of Ursula Hargens, topographical porcelain sculpture of Janet Williams, and earthenware figures sculpted by Edith Garcia, a portion of whose installation "Constant, Same and Forever," is shown here.
