LOST SOULS OF THE CASCADE TUNNEL

Opening tonight: Bug-eyed and fierce, Deuce Seven's fantastic fantasies swirl into Soo Visual Arts Center for a new show -- his first in three years at Soo -- of paintings and drawings in psychedelic hues and somber browns. After garnering attention in New York, Seattle and London, the Minneapolis graffiti maven has been working furiously on new creations, so watch out for wet paint. The show may include paintings on masks and maybe even an on-site mural. Or not. What's for sure is that his "lost souls" are ferociously expressive and often comic in their antics. He's got a gun-slinging dude on a Wanted poster, a train and a snakey-looking gal with a messed-up face and wild hair, plus the feathery pair shown here. And more, lots more. (Party, 6-9 p.m. today, $2. Soo Visual Arts Center, 2640 Lyndale Av. S., Mpls. Show ends April 12, free. 612-871-2263 or soovac.org)
