Made in Minnesota
Opening Thursday: Anyone looking for a signature Minnesota art style would be hard pressed to find it in the work of the 21 sculptors featured in "Made in Minnesota." Spanning several generations of state-based talent, the show features utilitarian objects made of stone and wood, Buddhist-inspired sculpture, jewelry, abstract and realistic designs, tiny carvings and boulders strung together with steel rods. The toy-like sculpture shown here is by Dean Lucker. A sampling of the state's many talents, the show celebrates the diversity of spirit that characterizes Minnesota's art scene.
