Most of the works at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden are being moved to new locations or into storage to make way for a two-year, $33.3 million construction project that will transform the garden and the neighboring Walker Art Center. Mark di Suvero's "Molecule" (above) and Brower Hatcher's "Prophecy of the Ancients" (right) are among pieces taking up residence at Gold Medal Park near the Guthrie Theater. Landing spots for other works include the Minneapolis Institute of Art and the Weisman Art Museum. The Sculpture Garden is to close next spring and reopen in the summer of 2017, with sculptures returning. The Walker will be open throughout.
