Nathan Kuehl scored on a 3-yard run midway through the fourth quarter as Ripon (Wis.) rallied to beat St. Scholastica 17-16 in a nonconference matchup Saturday in Ripon.

The Saints took a 16-3 lead on Mason Bloomquist’s 8-yard fumble return early in the third quarter. The touchdown also ignited Ripon’s comeback.

The Red Hawks blocked the extra point kick and Decker Thompson returned it 98 yards for two points. Two minutes, 31 seconds later, Thompson intercepted a Dakota Paulson pass and returned it 48 yards for a score.
