Gophers gettin' in?

A look at Minnesota's NCAA tournament chances going into the Big Ten tournament:

If they win Thursday vs. Penn State: Gophers would pick up their fourth Quadrant 1 victory and either remain solid as a projected No. 10 seed or move a slot higher. Plus, there would be another signature win opportunity Friday vs. Purdue.

If they lose: Gophers would drop to 3-10 in Quad 1 games and would be out of chances to improve their NCAA tourney résumé. It seems, though, they likely would still be in, possibly as one of the No. 11 seeds that are sent to Dayton, Ohio, for a First Four game.
