AP PHOTOS: Aerial views of Texas floodwaters brought on by record rainfall

The record rains that have submerged highways, flooded homes and led to several deaths in Texas show little signs of diminishing.

The National Weather Service said Friday that there's up to a 70 percent chance of heavy rain and thunderstorms in the Houston area this weekend, with similar forecasts for other areas of the beleaguered state.
