    All eyes on Mainstreet, Hopkins

    When it comes to Hopkins, all eyes are on Mainstreet, the center of the city's entertainment and commercial life. The street features nothing but locally owned small businesses, as well as theaters and restaurants. The city is expecting increased foot traffic in the area once the light rail begins running and a large luxury apartment complex is built nearby. What is the secret to Mainstreet's humble success, and what could other cities learn from it?
