Al Kooper gushes over "Spilt Milk"

Rocker impressed with Kristina Train's album.

Every Tuesday, rocker Al Kooper -- who has been making, writing and producing hits for more than 50 years -- scours iTunes looking for new music. Recently, Kooper, who performs tonight at the Dakota in Minneapolis, found a new favorite, "Spilt Milk" by Kristina Train on Blue Note Records.

"She's the first girl to come along since Dusty Springfield to possess a voice like that, with all the things that made Dusty special. She's out of Savannah, Georgia, originally; she lives in the New York area now. Her singing is just terrifying. I couldn't believe how special she was."
