The British singer had a sold-out performance at the Fitzgerald Theater on Monday night in St. Paul.

Beleaguered Morrissey fans had the right to be nervous after the traumatic events of 2012 and 2013, when the melancholic English crooner postponed and ultimately canceled three dates in a row at Minneapolis' Orpheum Theatre due to various health issues.

Worry not, though — all signs suggested Morrissey's Monday-night show was a go at St. Paul's sold-out Fitzgerald Theater.

The evening promised left-field classics from his 1980s band the Smiths and songs from his edgy 2014 solo album "World Peace Is None of Your Business."
