Either the Vikings have snapped out of their funk or this loss is REALLY going to sting for them.
They lead the Lions 20-0 in a game that's not that close. The Lions have more punts (six) than first downs (four).
The Vikings also have three sacks of Matthew Stafford, who entered the game as the only starting quarterback in the NFL that hadn't been sacked. The Vikings have supplied consistently heavy pressure throughout the game as the Lions have looked like the Lions of old (actually the Lions of always).
Then again ...
I wouldn't celebrate just yet, Purple fans. The Vikings blew leads of 17-7 and 17-0 the past two weeks. They are the only team to open the season with two losses after leading by double digits at halftime in both games.
Jared Allen has two sacks. Kevin Williams has made a big difference in the middle. Chris Cook defended a deep ball to Calvin Johnson perfectly. And Marcus Sherels is the unsung hero with an outstanding tackle on a punt and then a long punt return to set up the final touchdown with nine seconds left in the half.

All these quarterback issues. Would benching Dobbs be a big mistake?
