If you still haven't checked out the Acadia Cafe on the West Bank, you're missing out. The beer bar/music venue made the move to Cedar-Riverside two years ago and will celebrate its anniversary with what it does best: great brews and local music.

The two-day party (Friday and Saturday) will bring together breweries and musicians for a smorgasbord of celebrating. Representatives from various breweries (Surly, Lift Bridge, Fulton, Flat Earth, Summit and more) will answer questions about their beers. They'll be followed up by performances from Twin Cities indie rock, folk and bluegrass bands. There will be specials on each brewery's beers during the discussion period (and the music that follows).

This should excite beer geeks: The bar will also be tapping a rare cask of Surly Darkness. Also, the bar is offering a special drawing for two lucky people to win free beer for a year at the bar(!).

Here's the schedule, directly from co-owner Juliana Bryarly:

Perla was accused of raping a student during a wine-tasting outing in June 2015. Some of the files are so heavily redacted that on many pages no words are visible. Perla is one of 113 UC employees found to have violated the system's sexual misconduct policies in rece
