ABC sells out Oscar ads at record price

ABC has already sold out its ad space ahead of the 87th Academy Awards, and the price is an all-time high, an average of $2 million per 30-second commercial.

ABC has already sold out its ad space ahead of the 87th Academy Awards, and the price is an all-time high.

TV commercials average $2 million per 30-second commercial, a 10 percent hike from last year's $1.8 million. V commercials for the "87th Annual Academy Awards" at another record price. ABC execs revealed all commercial space was bought in the fall of 2014.

Some of the brands you'll see commercials from include: AT&T, American Express, Netflix, Anheuser-Busch., AARP, Coca-Cola, Coldwell Banker, Comcast, Discover, GM, J&J, King's Hawaiian, Mars, McDonald's, Sprint, Samsung, Sonos and The Walt Disney Co.

And as TheWrap reported, Best Picture nominees are making their respective cases through trade ads and billboards in Los Angeles.
