Seven-year-old Aislyn Connelly of St. Paul made her careful way to a canoe with the help of Justin Halverson during National Public Lands Day, a day of volunteering and enjoying which fell happily on a gorgeous fall Saturday. Wilderness Inquiry gave free canoe rides on the Mississippi River at Hidden Falls Regional Park in St. Paul, and Tips Outdoors donated fishing poles and bait.
