Wednesday is the last day of the NBA regular season. The playoffs begin Saturday with the best-of-seven conference quarterfinals. The division winners in each conference and one other team make up the top four seeds (in order of record), while the remaining four teams are seeded 5-8. Teams are not reseeded after each round.
