Rx for snorers Coming in June: Leggett & Platt's new Prodigy adjustable bed's anti-snore feature that lets you change a snoring partner's sleeping position at the touch of a button. Company sales director Della Emory said the feature raises the head of the bed 7 degrees -- about 3 inches -- to open the snorer's nasal passages, which can alleviate snoring in mild to moderate cases. Other features: a system that wakes you with a gentle massage, a sleep timer that lowers the bed automatically in case you fall asleep sitting up, a remote control finder (it sounds a buzzer on the remote) and the ability to control the bed from elsewhere in the house using an iPhone or iTouch. An optional feature adjusts the temperature of the bed automatically as needed during the night. The bed will retail for $1,800 to $2,000 without a mattress, Emory said. Notes Renovation Style & Design, the Independence, Minn., homes design and staging business, said it will hold a sale Friday through Sunday at the Chanhassen home it staged and decorated for the Parade of Homes. Co-owner Kristi Patterson said 95 percent of the home's contents are for sale, as well as additional antiques, furniture, artwork and accessories from the company's warehouse. Leather-look covers SureFit has kicked the look of slipcovers up a notch with the Chatham, pictured, a brown two-piece faux-leather covering for loveseats and sofas.
