Law enforcement is out with a warning to those who imbibe and drive. They'll be out looking for you as part of an enahnced effort to keep the road safe.

For now the warning for commuters is to avoid Hwy. 169 in St. Louis Park. A three-car wreck taking out the right lane has northbound traffic bogging down at Hwy. 7. Southbound drivers are feeling the effects back at Hwy. 55.

A semi carrying chlorine stalled out on the northbound Lafayette Bridge at 7 a.m. and the big rig is still blocking the right lane. MnDOT said it was planning to shut down the highway at 8:15 a.m. to remove the truck, but that just happened now. Traffic is exiting at Eaton Street.

A dangerous crash on northbound I-35W at 113th Street took out the center lane for about 20 minutes around 7:40 a.m. Always a busy area, the crash brought traffic to a near standstill back to Burnsville Pkwy. until it was moved over to the right shoulder. Traffic is moving at free speeds now and it's an easy 20 minutes to downtown Minneapolis.

The sun up slow down and a crash at France Avenue has traffic sputtering on eastbound 494 from East Bush Lake Road past the wreckage at France.
