Friday's morning rush hour was about as easy as they come as roads were in good shape and traffic volumes seemed lighter than normal.

A stalled Metro Transit bus on the shoulder of southbound I-35W at Franklin Avenue produced the only snag of significance. A tow just towed the bus away within the past few minutes after it sat there for about 40 minutes from 8:10 to 8:50 a.m. That caused traffic to stack up as far back as 4th Street and University Avenue.

At present, the incident attracting attention is a car fire on the right shoulder of Hwy. 100 southbound at Duluth Street.

The rest of the system saw traffic moving without any issues.

Monday could be another easy drive as many government offices will be closed for the President's Day holiday. Enjoy.
