A rollover crash that trapped a driver inside the vehicle was the most violent crash of the Tuesday morning rush. It occurred around 8:40 a.m. on southbound 35E just south of the Forest Lake Split. Rescure workers are extracting the driver and the right lane is blocked.
Other incidents in progress include a fender bender on the ramp from westbound 94 at Riverside Avenue.
Earlier this morning traffic moved swiftly for the most part but we did have minor congestion in spots. A few crashes tied up traffic, including northbound Cedar Avenue at the Crosstown. The wreck caused traffic to back up to I-494 around 7:40 a.m.
Overall it was a tame rush and one that commuters would take just about any winter day.
