8 a.m. update: Current drive times

The abandoned vehicle found on southbound I-35W on the Mississippi River bridge earlier this morning is being loaded up. Police have been on the scene since 6 a.m. looking for the driver.  The activity has had traffic bound up from Hwy. 280 into downtown tied up for the past 2 hours.

Over in St. Paul, westbound 94 is looking better now that a left-lane blocking crash at White Bear Avenue has cleared.  Things will be sluggish from Johnson Pkwy to Dale Street due to a stall on the right shoulder at Mounds Blvd.
